Marija is a highly experienced lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience in top tier, national law firms advising on all aspects of planning procedures and resource consents across a range of sectors including property, energy, mining, and viticulture. Her particular focus is major transport infrastructure and her work to date includes key city-shaping infrastructure projects for Auckland such as the City Rail Link, Mill Road, Penlink and State Highway 16 Improvements.

Marija is a regular speaker and commentator on innovative solutions to infrastructure issues, sustainability challenges and the need for greater diversity in the law. Her passion to inspire women in the law and empower others to grow and develop has seen Marija invited to speak in numerous forums.
